Etruscan Press receives donation

YOUNGSTOWN

Etruscan Press, a nonprofit literary press that partners with Youngstown State University, has received a $5,000 grant from the Youngstown Foundation, to continue its outreach to local schools, organizations and prisons in Northeast Ohio. The outreach program focuses on educational initiatives that target underrepresented and underserved student populations.

Etruscan’s executive director, Dr. Philip Brady, an English professor at YSU, indicated the grant will help the organization fund outreach activities that include bringing authors and books into local classrooms, facilitating composition classes at local prisons and installing and stocking Little Free Libraries around the community.
