Humane agents removed two horses from a township residence Friday, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, 21 WFMJ-TV, reported. After conducting an exam, humane agents obtained a search warrant, then removed the horses from a house on Warren-Sharon Road. An investigation is underway.

Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District’s seasonal facility, 5138 Enterprise Blvd., is closed for hazardous waste but remains open for electronics and small-appliance collections from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays this month. Items accepted from residents of Geauga and Trumbull counties include TVs (limit 2), dorm refrigerators, small freezers, computers, monitors, printers, stereo equipment and window air conditioners.
Traffic counts

The Ohio Department of Transportation is conducting traffic counts across Mahoning County, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, 21 WFMJ-TV, reports.
The counters, which look like thin rubber hoses, are placed on ramps for Interstates 76 and 80. ODOT conducts counts every three years. The counters will be at other spots in the next several weeks through the second week of December.
Man found dead in car
WARREN
City police found a man dead in a car parked at a McDonald’s earlier this week. He was identified as Ian Reynolds, 30. Police said an employee reported finding a man unresponsive about 10 a.m. Wednesday at the North Road SE location. Medical responders determined Reynolds was dead upon their arrival. No signs of foul play. were found.
