New Youngstown police officer sworn in today

YOUNGSTOWN — The police department today swore in a new officer.

Breanna Jones, 25, took the oath as patrolman from Mayor John A. McNally. She will begin training next week.

Jones is a graduate of the police academy at Youngstown State University and she previously worked for the Goshen Police District and Struthers Police Department.
