A night of magic, comedy at LaBrae

WARREN

The Youngstown Magic Club will present its annual Night of Comedy And Magic, featuring Geoff Williams and Rob Zabrecky, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at LaBrae High School auditorium, 1001 N. Leavitt Road.

Club members will perform close-up magic starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 (open seating). For reservations or information, call 330-883-0513 or 330-307-4928.

Williams, a Florida native, is a three-time Magician of the Year through the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

He has won more than two dozen comedy and magic awards during his 29-year career, and has performed in 18 countries.

Williams wrote Top Ten lists for “The Late Show with David Letterman” and is a performing member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood. He is known for cutting-edge, sleight-of-hand illusions mixed with an offbeat, zany sense of humor.

Zabrecky, a resident magician at the Magic Castle, has established himself for his work in film, television, magic and music.

Both performers deliver a Las Vegas-style show. Although their work is family-friendly, the show is designed to entertain adults rather than children. It is recommended that patrons be at least 13 years old.
