Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, at corner of Kirk Road and state Route. 46 in Austintown, will serve a free Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. This supper is a community outreach of the church and is open to all each month. Donations are accepted to continue this program.

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, will host a takeout beef tips and noodles dinner from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu consists of Angus beef tips, homestyle noodles, corn, roll with butter and homemade cookie. Cost is $8 per dinner. Takeout only. Call the church at 330-758-3143 or Janet at 330-501-2104. Drive up to the back door, place your order and it will be brought to your car.

FRIDAY

Christ the Good Shepherd Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will host Friday pirogi sales. Call in orders to 330-755-1316 Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with pickup from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen.

Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 330-792-1005.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order, call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $7 a dozen. No containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will have its pirogi sale Friday. The cost is $6 per dozen. Potato, cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi are available. Phone orders will be taken Thursday and Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. Call 330-542-3525 to order. Pickup will be Friday from noon till 3 p.m. Pirogi will not be available for purchase the week of Thanksgiving, but sales will resume Nov. 27.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, is selling potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome. There will be no pirogi sales next week in observance of Thanksgiving, but sales will resume Nov. 27.

SATURDAY

Columbiana Meals on Wheels will host a drive-up baked-potato luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Firestone Park, Pavilion 4, in Colmbiana. Carryout orders will be available. Donations are $7 for a baked potato with all the fixings, soup and salad, while shopping at local merchants during “Christmas in Columbiana.” All proceeds benefit Columbiana Area Meals on Wheels.

Cub Scout Pack 119 will host a pasta dinner from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 N. Main St, New Middletown. There will be a bake sale, basket auction and a 50-50 raffle. Takeout is available. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children age 5 to 12 and children under 5 eat free. Proceeds will benefit Pack 119.

Southington American Legion Post 751, 3145 Warren Burton Road, will host a dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m.. The menu includes Swiss steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, vegetable, drinks and dessert. Takeouts will be available. Donations are $9 for adults and $4 for children under age 12.

SUNDAY

Fowler Fire Department will host its monthly pancake and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station on state Route 193. Cost is $6 for seniors, $7 for adults, $5 for children and preschool age children eat free.

Pacentrano Club, 2629 Craiger Ave., Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 4 p.m. every Sunday during football season. The dinners are $8 each for sit-down or $9 each for takeout. For information or to place takeout orders, call 330-788-3393.

St. Brendan Church Parish Life Committee, 2800 Oakwood Ave., Youngstown will host a country fried steak dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, bread and butter, a homemade dessert and coffee or water. Pop, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children under age 12. Takeout is available.

Sulmona Valley Club, 92 S. Bridge St., Struthers, will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Dinner includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad and dessert. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Carryouts will be available.

VFW Post 2799 will host a homestyle breakfast sponsored by the auxiliary from 8 a.m. to noon at the post home 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea. Cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children under age 12.

TUESDAY

First United Methodist Church of Columbiana, 210 S. Main St., is hosting a drive-through ham dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The cost is $8 and includes sliced ham, red skin parsley potatoes, green beans, applesauce and a brownie. For information, call the church at 330-482-2382. TAKING ORDERS

First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, will sell chicken noodle soup, potato soup, homemade pepperoni rolls, fresh-baked bread and homemade sticky buns. Soup is $5 per quart and $3 per pint. Pepperoni rolls are $8 for a large and $2.50 for a single. Bread is $2 for a large loaf and $1.50 for a small loaf. Sticky buns are four for $2.50. Orders must be placed by Wednesday by calling 330-759-1460. After deadline for orders, items will be only as available. Pickup will take place at the church from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for freshly made potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Pirogi will not be available next week during Thanksgiving, but sales will resume Nov. 30.

St. John Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, Campbell, is taking orders for its Christmas kolachi sale until Nov. 24. Apricot, cheese, lekvar, nut and poppy seed are available for $11 each. Holy Apostles Parish at Sts. Peter and Paul Croatian Church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown, is taking Christmas and New Year’s carryout orders only for homemade stuffed cabbage. Stuffed cabbage comes in a foil pan, freshly made and may be heated to serve now or frozen for future use. Cost is $25 per dozen. To order, call Peggy at 330-746-6754. Last day to order is Dec. 4. Aut Mori Grotto will host its monthly pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 25 at the Grotto Hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave. Menu will include all-you-can-eat pancakes only, link sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, potatoes, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and children under 3 eat free. Proceeds benefit Grotto charities and the building fund.
