MONDAY’s OTHER NBA GAMES

Bucks 110, Grizzlies 103

MILWAUKEE

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points and nine rebounds to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Khris Middleton and John Henson had 17 points apiece as Milwaukee won its third straight. Tyreke Evans scored 14 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for Memphis, and Dillon Brooks added 19 points. After the Bucks threatened to pull away late in the third, Evans scored nine consecutive points to pull Memphis into an 84-all tie early in the fourth quarter. Memphis pulled ahead on Dillon Brooks’ 3-pointer with about nine minutes left. Milwaukee tied it on Tony Snell’s corner 3.

Pelicans 106, Hawks 105

NEW ORLEANS

Darius Miller hit four three pointers in the fourth quarter, when he scored 14 of his 21 points, and the New Orleans Pelicans survived a sloppy performance to beat struggling Atlanta. DeMarcus Cousins had 22 points and 16 rebounds, and Anthony Davis added 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Pelicans, who’ve won five of six. E’Twaun Moore tied a career high with 24 points for New Orleans. Kent Bazemore scored 22 points for the Hawks, who led by as many as 14 points before fading to lose their fourth straight. Bazemore also missed a critical free throw with 37.1 seconds left. Atlanta still had a chance to take a late lead, but Dennis Schroder’s errant pass toward Tyler Cavenaugh sailed out of bounds with 3.2 seconds to go. Davis’ late turnover — New Orleans’ 19th in the game — gave Atlanta one last desperation shot with about a second left, but Bazemore was unable to get a clean look at his 3-point attempt over Jrue Holiday, and the shot fell short. Cavanaugh finished with 16 points, while Belinelli had 14 and Babbitt 12.

Wizards 110, Kings 92

WASHINGTON

John Wall had 21 points and nine assists, Marcin Gortat scored 18 and the Washington Wizards beat the Sacramento Kings for their third straight win. Otto Porter Jr. and reserve Mike Scott chipped in 15 points apiece as six Wizards scored in double figures. George Hill led Sacramento with 16 points, while Zach Randolph and Buddy Hield each had 12. Wall was 8 of 9 from the field, including 4 for 4 from 3-point range. In two games against the Kings, he has 40 points and is 9 for 10 from long distance. In his other 10 games, he is 5 for 32. Washington led by six at halftime and hit its first five shots — two by Bradley Beal — in the third quarter to extend the lead to 70-56. The Wizards built the margin to 22 late in the quarter. The Wizards shot 51.8 percent (44 of 85), while the Kings made 40.5 percent (34 of 84). The Kings were 12 of 23 (52.3 percent) from 3-point range. Washington outrebounded Sacramento 50-34. The Wizards had 30 assists and just 12 turnovers, while the Kings turned it over only 10 times. The Kings led 32-25 after one but the Wizards’ reserves, paced by Scott and Kelly Oubre Jr., went on a 15-2 run to start the second quarter. Sacramento briefly regained the lead before Wall and the Wizards’ starters returned and mounted a 17-8 run, good for a 57-51 halftime lead.
