Breaking and entering: Someone forcibly entered Tiffany’s Bar & Grille, 7120 Tiffany Blvd., via the front door, though it appeared nothing was missing.

Theft: A car was entered on Wildwood Drive. Nothing seemed to be missing, however.

Oct. 14

Assaults: Police received information that a woman had bitten a Boardman man and that the man had reportedly struck her as they argued during a car ride in the township, though neither wished to file charges against the other.

Theft: A Hudson Drive man told officers someone had removed flowers from his neighbor’s driveway.

Menacing: A man reported a driver pointed a stun gun at him while they were stopped in traffic at Route 224 and Market Street after the motorist had reportedly cut the man off.

Theft: A Sylvia Lane man discovered two wallets missing from his vehicle.

Recovered property: A 2010 Mazda CX9 was found in Youngstown after a Loma Vista Drive woman had reported the car stolen.

Theft: A Shorehaven Drive woman reported her purse, $60, a concealed-carry permit and other property missing from her car.

Theft: A Mount Pleasant, Pa., woman staying at a South Avenue motel discovered 80 over-the-counter medications missing from her room.

Assault: A Larkridge Avenue woman and her boyfriend each reported having been assaulted by the other after a party they had attended near Ewing Road.

Oct. 15

Assault: An employee with a McClurg Road restaurant alleged a co-worker poked and pushed him in the chest during an argument, though the accuser was not injured.

Criminal damaging: A man discovered damage to a portion of aluminum siding, and that someone had tossed a liquid on the front and side of his Argyle Avenue home.

Criminal damaging: A Salem man at Southern Park Mall noticed a key had been used to scrawl an obscenity on his vehicle, which resulted in $600 worth of damage to the finish.

Theft: A township woman learned that $324 had been removed from her room at a Boardman hospital.

Oct. 16

Harassment: A Roche Way woman said her former boyfriend had made unwanted contact with her that included threatening statements.

Drugs: After pulling them over on Doral Drive, authorities charged Pamela T. Kerby, 24, of Shadyside Drive, Boardman, with possession of a drug-abuse instrument, and Andre F. Wilson, 20, of Cook Avenue, Boardman, with possession of drug paraphernalia. Two suspected crack-cocaine pipes, copper mesh and a course scouring pad often used to smoke crack cocaine were found, a report stated.

Oct. 19

Criminal damaging: A Ferncliff Avenue woman noticed two dents in her car’s driver’s side.

Harassment: A Griswold Drive man said he’s received numerous unwanted calls from various credit-card companies.

Drugs: Authorities arrested Frankie V. Russo, 25, at his Gaither Avenue residence on warrants charging the Youngstown man with one count each of inducing panic and possession of drug paraphernalia after an April 14 situation in which police responded to someone who was reportedly passed out and not breathing at a Ron Joy Place home before paramedics administered two doses of Narcan to reverse the effects of opioids. In addition, officers were dispatched to an incident in the 700 block of Boardman-Canfield Road, where Russo admitted having overdosed on heroin, a report showed.

Theft: A man reportedly stole a men’s wristwatch from Gabe’s, 850 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: Leon C. Reynolds, 44, of Westchester Drive, Austintown, was charged with stealing 11 pairs of shoes valued at $319 from Burlington Coat Factory, 529 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Identity theft: A Tanglewood Drive man learned that his credit-card information had been used to make one fraudulent transaction each at two township stores that totaled about $513.

Theft: A Wolcott Drive man told officers someone had entered his daughter’s car and took her wallet.

Harassment: An Oakridge Drive woman reported having received unwanted contact via Facebook.

Theft: A woman in her 50s reportedly took $290 worth of bedsheets, bath towels and pillows from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Auto theft: A 1993 Oldsmobile 88 was stolen in the 800 block of Mathews Road.

Menacing: A Boardman woman said her 16-year-old daughter has received unwanted online messages.

Misuse of a credit card: A township woman found out someone removed $500 from her account after she had evidently left her purse at a Boardman-Poland Road restaurant.

Fraud: A Grover Drive woman told authorities a caller who claimed her grandson had been in a vehicular accident instructed her to send two $1,000 gift cards to him. The victim sent half of that sum and talked to her grandson, who said he had not been in such a predicament.

Oct. 20

Arrest: Authorities in the 900 block of Mathews Road picked up Richard A. Fanfer, 64, of Glendale Avenue, Boardman. Fanfer was wanted on a warrant accusing him of failing to appear in Youngstown Municipal Court to face a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Vincent T. Russo, 43, of Woodlawn Avenue, Poland, was charged, accused of stealing $14 worth of beef and shrimp from Walmart.

Arrest: While dealing with a possible domestic-violence situation, police took Jamison B. Kennedy, 44, into custody on charges of auto theft, domestic violence and making domestic-violence threats after his girlfriend alleged Kennedy, of Brandon Avenue, Poland, had slapped the back of her head during an argument as she drove, then threatened to kill the accuser. Afterward, Kennedy took her 2007 Buick Rendezvous, she further alleged.

Burglary: To a residence in the 900 block of Indianola Road, where the homeowner saw that a rear door had been forced open. Stolen from the garage was a $4,504 lawn mower.

Drugs: Police on Fairlawn Avenue issued a minor-misdemeanor citation to Terral J. Miles, 20, of Cain Street, Youngstown, charging him with having pieces of suspected marijuana in his pocket and sock.

Theft: A Huntington Drive woman reported solar lights had been removed from her backyard.

Identity theft: A Berklee Drive man found out someone had fraudulently used his name and address on the victim’s online account to buy four $100 gift cards from a Farmington Hills, Mich., store.

Theft: A woman reportedly rented but failed to return a $2,800 camera and two lenses to YM Camera, 755 Boardman-Canfield Road, as instructed in the contract.

Harassment: A Lakeshore Drive man said his former girlfriend has made and sent numerous such calls and text messages to him.

Thefts: Arnetta J. Jones, 54, of Karl Street, Youngstown, faced two theft charges after $79 worth of soap and laundry products was stolen from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 307 Boardman-Canfield Road. Jones also was accused of taking miscellaneous merchandise from Dollar General, 8573 Market St.

Oct. 21

Arrest: After responding to a report that a car had been stolen from a Beechwood Drive residence, authorities charged a 16-year-old Youngstown boy with one felony count each of fleeing and eluding police, receiving stolen property and obstructing official business, along with one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest. The teen stole the 2003 Ford Escape and led officers on a pursuit before crashing in Youngstown, then fled on foot, a report stated.

Drugs: A traffic stop near Market Street led to a minor-misdemeanor citation charging Koya Carr, 40, of Market Street, Boardman, with having a bag of suspected marijuana in her purse.

Theft: Albert J. Stefek, 46, of South Avenue, Youngstown, was charged in the theft of a portable DVD player and a Bluetooth wireless speaker from Walmart.

Drugs: After pulling him over in the 4400 block of Market Street, authorities charged James C. Levy, 48, of Cherry Hill Drive, Youngstown, with trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Levy, who initially failed to follow officers’ instructions, had a plastic bag that contained 27.2 grams of suspected marijuana, as well as a digital scale with suspected marijuana residue, a report showed.

Arrest: Nicholas C. Dundics, 30, of Hitchcock Road, Boardman, was charged with operating a vehicle impaired and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle after having been pulled over near Glenwood Avenue. Dundics was an impaired driver with a 0.155 blood-alcohol content, which is nearly double Ohio’s 0.08 legal intoxication limit, who also had a .45-caliber pistol, along with two loaded magazines in the trunk, a report stated.

Theft: Richard Sherb, 32, of Redgate Lane, Austintown, faced charges of theft, criminal trespassing and criminal simulation after being accused of switching price labels on a $280 modem while at Walmart. Found in Sherb’s vehicle were hundreds of fraudulent barcodes, police alleged.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A West Boulevard man reported a friend borrowed but failed to return his 2010 Nissan Altima.

Attempted theft: Two males reportedly entered vehicles in the 200 block of Reta Lane.

Burglary: Took place at a home in the 4000 block of Sylvia Lane, from which a Sony PlayStation 4 game system and related items were missing.

Criminal mischief: Two Angiline Drive residents saw that someone had shot their homes with paint guns.

Oct. 22

Assault/criminal damaging: A woman alleged her former boyfriend came to her Brandon Avenue residence and pushed her after having become upset that a friend also was there. After telling him to leave, the former boyfriend kicked and did minor damage to her door, a report said.

Criminal damaging/criminal mischief: A Lost Creek Drive woman reported her mailbox had been damaged. Also, a neighbor saw that eggs had been tossed at his car.

Criminal mischief: A man told police someone without permission opened a letter he had received from the Internal Revenue Service while he was moving from the 4800 block of Brookwood Road to Greenville, S.C.

Harassment: A Moyer Avenue woman alleged her former boyfriend’s mother has been sending her unwanted text messages.

Oct. 23

Drugs: Officers on Boardman-Canfield Road handed Chike Rakilam, 27, a minor-misdemeanor citation after alleging Rakilam, of Liberty Road, Youngstown, had suspected marijuana.

Theft: Police phone booked Albert D. Byro IV of Wilshire Drive, Youngstown, on a theft charge. Byro, 23, was accused of stealing a $349 Xbox console Aug. 29 from Walmart.

Oct. 26

Arrest: Police phone booked Tori D. Letlow, 27, of Mistletoe Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of intimidation, aggravated trespassing and criminal damaging, related to an Aug. 2 incident in which his girlfriend alleged Letlow had tried to break into her Glenwood Avenue apartment. He also kicked and damaged a window, then, as he left, threatened to kill another person, a report showed.

Theft: Timothy A. Rollison Jr., 30, of Pembrook Road, Youngstown, was charged in the theft of $633 worth of property that included food as well as Xbox games and related accessories from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Employee theft: Coralys R. Fontanez-Zenquiz, 19, of South Schenley Avenue, Boardman, was charged after a supervisor with Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road, alleged Fontanez-Zenquiz had stolen about $90 worth of merchandise during a one-month period, in part by voiding the price of items for friends at her register.

Harassment: A Meadowbrook Avenue woman said she received several threatening calls.

Arrest: After responding to a report of a suspicious man in the 800 block of East Midlothian Boulevard, officers took Jonathan E. Manley, 42, into custody. Manley, of Roxbury Avenue, Youngstown, was wanted on a Columbiana County bench warrant charging nonsupport of dependents.

Theft: Gloria J. Samuels, 58, of Ambert Avenue, Youngstown, was charged with stealing from Walmart $12 worth of merchandise that included candy.

Arrest: Jeffrey A. Hartman, 54, was taken into custody at his place of employment on Boardman-Canfield Road after authorities learned that Hartman, of North Main Street, Poland, was wanted on a Hubbard warrant charging failure to appear in court.

Theft by deception: An official with a Glenwood Avenue business alleged a former employee improperly continued to receive paychecks that totaled $736 while incarcerated in the Mahoning County jail.

Oct. 27

Arrest: A traffic stop near Market Street led to the arrest of Marquis R. Cambridge, 23, of North Gate Avenue, Liberty. He was wanted on an Ohio State Highway Patrol warrant charging failure to appear in court.

Domestic violence: Sheku A. Morleh, 37, of Market Street, Boardman, was charged with the crime after his girlfriend alleged that during an argument, Morleh grabbed her neck and choked the accuser, then twice punched her in the shoulder and neck areas.

Arrest: Danielle M. Tchoryk, 43, of Firnley Avenue, Boardman, surrendered on an inducing-panic charge after police, firefighters and paramedics had responded to a possible drug overdose Aug. 31 at the residence. Tchoryk was found unresponsive on a bed and given a dose of Narcan to reverse the effects of opioids before admitting having snorted heroin, authorities alleged.

Domestic violence: Tyler M. Nicula, 22, of White Beech Lane, faced a charge after his girlfriend, of Boardman, alleged Nicula had slapped her face during an argument.

Menacing: A worker for a Market Street store reported an irate customer called and threatened to return to strike the accuser.

Obscenity: A surveillance camera at a Market Street business reportedly showed a man in a gray Ford vehicle tossing on the ground an envelope that contained a comic strip that was pornographic in nature.

Theft: A $120 tool and a $60 pair of sunglasses were removed from a car in the 1800 block of Canavan Drive.

Misuse of a credit card: A Canterbury Lane woman found out someone who had obtained her credit-card information used the card to pay off a $969 online bill.

Citation: After responding to a report of a male lying in grass in the 600 block of Boardman-Canfield Road, police issued a minor misdemeanor citation charging Mark S. Hamilton, 41, of Trenholm Road, Boardman, with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Robbery: The U.S. Marshals Task Force took custody of Britanee M. Pete, 29, of Campbell, who was wanted on warrants charging robbery and criminal damaging after several store associates with Gabe’s, 850 Boardman-Poland Road, alleged having been assaulted during a shoplifting situation. In addition, a set of doors was damaged, rendering the two doors temporarily inoperable, a report stated.

Employee theft: Jackson Township police handed to Boardman authorities Thomas S. Oliver, 21, of Melrose Avenue, Boardman, who faced a theft charge after a July 20 situation in which an undisclosed sum of money was discovered missing from Little Caesar’s Pizza, 68 Boardman-Poland Road, when several drawers reportedly came up short.

Theft: Police in Canfield picked up Susan C. Carosella of East Western Reserve Road, Poland, who faced six theft counts, including a shoplifting situation in which Carosella, 42, was accused of taking $483 worth of merchandise Oct. 13 from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Fraud: A doctor with a Market Street medical office reported a caller claiming to represent the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department told him that an arrest warrant was issued because the accuser supposedly had failed to appear for jury duty. The caller advised the doctor to buy $3,000 worth of money cards to negate the warrant before the victim called the department and realized it was a scam.

Misuse of a credit card: A township woman discovered her missing debit card was used to make a $20 unauthorized transaction at a South Avenue store.

Theft: A man reportedly stole several knife-replacement blades from Walmart.

Theft: A man in his 50s reportedly removed four cases of energy drinks and four 10-packs of such beverages from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.

Oct. 28

Theft: A Maple Drive woman reported a cellphone, a coin tray and $2 in change missing from her vehicle.

Assault: A woman reported that while at a business in the 7000 block of Tiffany Boulevard, another woman spit on her.

Breaking and entering: Someone pried open the front door to a wooden shed that belongs to a South Avenue pet-care center, which damaged the trim.

Breaking and entering: Police responded to an alarm at Direct Sales and Leasing LLC, 8141 South Avenue, though it seemed nothing was missing. Surveillance footage reportedly captured two males in dark pants and hooded sweatshirts forcing open a window.

Theft: Someone entered a car in the 4000 block of Hudson Drive and removed loose change.

Burglary: To a second-floor apartment in the 30 block of Carter Circle, where a door, a deadbolt lock and a medicine cabinet mirror sustained damaged. Nothing appeared to have been taken, however.

Theft: A Youngstown man alleged having paid a mechanic with a township business $993 for vehicle parts and repair work, neither of which the accuser received.

Citation: Police on Market Street handed a minor-misdemeanor citation to Bryce A. Laughlin of Sharon, Pa., charging marijuana possession.

Arrest: After pulling him over near Market Street and Hillman Way, officers charged Prince A. Davis, 62, of Hayes Avenue Southwest, Warren, with operating a vehicle impaired. Davis registered a 0.124 blood-alcohol content, which exceeds Ohio’s 0.08 legal intoxication limit, a report showed.

Theft: A woman reportedly stole two air fresheners from Family Dollar, 4030 Market St.

Menacing: A Beech Avenue woman and her teenage daughter alleged an 11th-grade student had threatened to harm them during a recent Boardman High School event, then followed them to a township restaurant.

Thefts: James L. Marshall, 50, of North Main Street, Youngstown, was charged with returning a pair of shoes to Kohl’s, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, that he hadn’t bought but for which he received $80 in store credit. Also, Marshall was accused of stealing a $125 pair of pants from the store.

Employee theft: The Ohio State Highway Patrol handed to township police Brandon M. Savada, 18, who was wanted on a theft charge. Savada, of South Dunlap Avenue, Youngstown, was accused of stealing two $400 iPods during his last day of employment with Toys “R” Us, 317 Boardman-Poland Road.

Citation: Police near Market Street cited Joseph C. Brenner, 61, of Market, Boardman, on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 29

Attempted burglary: Someone tried to break into an apartment in the 30 block of Carter Circle and damaged a window screen.

Theft: A man in his mid-20s reportedly left a BP station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying for $28 worth of gasoline.

Assault: A Shields Road man alleged a roommate had struck his face several times after having punched holes in the walls.

Fraud: The owner of a former Roche Way business alleged a bookkeeper had written 12 fraudulent company checks for $126,332, and gave some of the money to her husband, who reportedly was unaware of the crime.

Theft: A diamond pendant was taken from a vehicle someone had entered in the 100 block of Maple Drive.

Oct. 30

Arrest: Police charged Lisa D. Park, 50, of Dickson Street, Youngstown, with operating a vehicle impaired. Park’s blood-alcohol content was 0.097, a report said.
