“Caroline, or Change,” directed by Dr. C. Austin Hill, at Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, Youngstown, 330-788-8739, at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday. If callbacks are needed, they will take place Tuesday. Performance dates are Feb. 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25. Cast calls for 10 females age 16 to 65 and eight males age 7 to 75. Open casting. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a song that showcases their voice. Songs not written for this specific show are encouraged, and while any style of music is acceptable, gospel, blues or a ballad would be most appropriate. An accompanist will be provided; those who wish to sing without accompaniment should expect an assessment of vocal range. There will be no dance audition. Rehearsals are expected to take place on weekday evenings beginning in early December, with a break for the holidays.
