The Youngstown Flea is offering a #ShopSmallYo $1,000 Giveaway contest to help spur local economic excitement surrounding the upcoming national Small Business Saturday event established in 2010 by American Express.

The Youngstown Flea was created as an incubator for small businesses to help spur the economy of the Youngstown community.

The giveaway is a challenge to every local shop to rally everyone they can from their community to aid them in their chance to win $1,000.

For the contest, follow these steps:

1. Promote the shop;

2. Get engaged shoppers, on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25, to use social media while at the business and share about the shop.

3. Use the hashtag #ShopSmallYo to make every post count for the drawing.
