ELECTION UPDATE | Mahoning voters give early support to two levies

YOUNGSTOWN — Early voters gave strong support to two county-wide levies.

Mahoning County Children Services’ half-mill replacement levy received 6,659 votes for the tax and 2,886 votes against.

The Western Reserve Transit Authority’s quarter-mill sales tax levy has 6,539 votes in favor and 3,038 votes against.
