ELECTION UPDATE | Children Services, WRTA levies approved in Mahoning County

Two county-wide levies passed, according to unofficial totals released by the Mahoning County Board of Elections.

Two-thirds of voters approved the Mahoning County Children Services half-mill replacement levy, with 38,960 votes.

Nearly 60 percent of voters approved the Western Reserve Transit Authority’s quarter-mill sales tax levy on a continuing basis, with 34,958 votes.
