Menacing: A Columbus man said he had received a threatening call while he was in the 6400 block of Tara Drive.
Harassment: A Risher Road woman reported a man had made six unwanted calls regarding a dog.
Arrest: Suspicious activity in the 6000 block of Market Street caught officers’ attention before they took Miriah L. Provitt, 24, into custody. Provitt, of Wilda Avenue, Boardman, was wanted on a probation-violation charge from Trumbull County.
Theft: Several vehicles were broken into on Ron Park Place. Money, credit cards and other small items were missing.
Robbery/vandalism: Two women reportedly stole $89 worth of clothing from Gabe’s, 850 Boardman-Poland Road, then struck a store detective with a shopping cart and assaulted loss-prevention officials before damaging and rendering inoperable a set of doors and fleeing.
Theft: A $100 Kindle device was taken from a car in the 100 block of Wildwood Drive.
Trespassing: Someone rummaged through a vehicle in the 800 block of Golfview Drive, though nothing appeared to have been stolen.
Theft: A woman reportedly stole $483 worth of merchandise from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A supervisor with Marc’s, 7121 Tiffany Blvd., told police two women and a male short-changed the grocery store $280.
Possible fraud: A Boardman woman reported having gotten a FedEx envelope that contained 10 $50 money orders she had not expected.
Drugs: A township woman told authorities that while in the 7200 block of Market Street, a man placed a bag of a suspicious powder in her truck. The material later tested positive for 0.2 grams of fentanyl, a report said.
