The Boardman Schools Television Network football crew from Boardman High School recently had the chance to compare notes with the professionals at Cleveland Browns press box and control room.

These video production students at BSTN enjoyed a two-hour tour at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sept. 13.

These Boardman students run the cameras during Spartan home football games and provide all the great coverage the fans see on the Spartan Stadium Video Board. They had an opportunity to talk with video production professionals, including Motion Graphic Artist Rich Hanchette, about the training it takes to put together what Browns’ fans see on game day. The hours and work involved, the deadlines and the amount of staff needed were just some of the topics. The video production pros painted a great picture of what a video career with the Browns would be like.

Spartan graduate Briana Harris invited the BSTN group and led them on the extensive behind the scenes tour of FirstEnergy Stadium.

Harris graduated from Boardman in 2011, and worked for the Miami HEAT before joining the Browns last year as a Group Account Executive.
