Falcons win against Lake
Fitch won 4-2 on penalty kicks after tying in regulation 2-2 when Lake scored with two minutes to go. Scoring both goals in regulation for the Falcons were Blake Baker (penalty kick, Dom Foley assist), and Jeremy Brady and Jacob Yoder for Lake. Goalie Trevor Hykes had three saves, none bigger than the first of Lake’s penalty kick at the end. Scoring the penalty kicks’s for Fitch were Baker, Hykes, Josh Egolf and Mitch Desiato.
Victory for Austintown soccer
Austintown Fitch boys varsity soccer won the OHSAA Sectional Tournament game against Uniontown on Oct. 21 after double over time with a 4-2 advantage in a shut out.
