Mahoning Valley SWAT team conducting exercise today at Covelli Centre

YOUNGSTOWN — The training scenario for the Mahoning Valley Crisis Response Team at the Covelli Centre has begun.

In the scenario, SWAT team members have been called to the downtown arena for an unknown problem. They received a briefing then entered the arena.

A drone is overhead and a helicopter is also on the way.
