Love Life Foundation plans Running canvas event for July 1

Interested people are invied to participate in the Running Canvas 5K & 1 Mile Walk event sponsored by the Love Life Foundation on July 1 beginning at 9 a.m.

This memorial color run will celebrate Jarrett Hutton and his life in the arts. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Love Life Foundation, art scholarship and grants program.

The Love Life Foundation is a nonprofit organization established under the Community Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. The organization was started in 2016 in memory of Hutton, an aspiring artist who died. The Love Life Foundation builds upon Jarrett’s mantra, “Love Life.”

The race will begin and end at the Cortland Roller Rink. The registration fee for the 5K is $25 if received by July 1. The 1 Mile Walk is $15.

Each runner or walker will receive a T-shirt along with refreshments at the race conclusion. There will be entertainment, vendors and food options available. Awards will be given to the first three overall 5K male and female finishers and the top three finishers in each age group.
