Conflicting reports follow Sunday shooting in city

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said witnesses gave conflicting accounts Sunday after a man was shot about 7:40 p.m. in the 3000 block of Oregon Avenue.

When officers arrived people on both sides of the street were shouting at each other and police found five 9mm shell casings.

The 32-year-old victim was driven by private car to Northside Medical Center, Youngstown.
