Valots celebrate 65th anniversary at Welshfield Inn

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Valot, Newton Falls, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with their children at the Welshfield Inn. The Valot’s have three children, Kenny (Sharon) and Kathy (Ron) Dydell of Newton Falls and Kevin (Sally) of Diamond. They have seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Valot and the former Jeannette Bailey were married May 25, 1952, at the United Church in Garrettsville. They have lived 60 years in the home the couple built on their family farm.

Mrs. Valot is a homemaker and is a member of the Pricetown United Methodist Church. Mr. Valot, a U.S. Army veteran and boy scout leader, retired in August 1991 from Thomas Steel Strip Corp. in Warren.
