CANFIELD
May 11
Theft: Dana Landis, 53, W. Garfield Road, Salem, was indicted for theft after a report of jewelry missing from a residence in the 100 block of Garwood Drive.
Suicidal statements: Police responded to a female making suicidal statements at the Mahoning County Carrer and Technial Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. She was transported to the hospital involuntarily.
May 15
Suicidal statements: Police responded for a male making suicidal statements at a home on E. Main St., and he was ultimately transported to the hospital involuntarily.
May 16
Breaking and entering: Stephen Hogan, 47, of Marmion Avenue, Youngstown was arrested for breaking and entering and theft after a break-in at a home in the 500 block of West Main Street. Money was reported missing.
May 19
Drug abuse: Rodney Smith, 29, of Trumbull Avenue, Warren was arrested for drug abuse.
Drug abuse: Mark DiGiacomo, 30, of North Edgehill Avenue, Austintown, was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
AUSTINTOWN
May 15
Protection order: A protection order was violated when gifts were sent at a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.
Theft: Six Ohio State pictures were taken from the men’s restroom at Brunch Bowl Cafe, 31 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A television and a PlayStation were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.
Sex offense: Emily Haggerty, 18, of Risher Road, Youngstown was issued a summons for public indecency after she and a juvenile male were found undressed in varying degrees in the back seat of a vehicle at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.
Warrant: Jason Bova, 41, of Wilson St., Struthers, was arrested on a warrant for Violation of a Protection Order.
May 16
Sex offense: Kathryn Unick, 27, of Meadowbrook Ave., Youngstown was arrested for soliciting and possession of criminal tools, for advertising massage services and possession of heroin.
May 17
Criminal mischief: A message was written on a vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
May 18
Warrant: Tina Scritchfield, 59, of Meridian Road was arrested on a warrant for inducing panic at Phoenix House, 850 Meridian Road.
Breaking and entering: Tools were taken after a break-in at a home in the 700 block of Notre Dame Avenue.
Theft: A handicapped placard was stolen from an auto while the window was down at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Jeffrey Anglin, 22, of Shady Court, New Middletown was arrested for theft, accused of taking $134.32 worth of rib-eye steaks at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Jeffrey Shorter, 48, of W. Delason Ave., Youngstown was arrested, accused of taking $140.64 worth of steaks; and Sylvia Rogers, 57, of Braeden St., Youngstown was arrested for theft of $100.41 in shrimp merchandise at Giant Eagle.
Theft: A wallet and its contents were stolen at Walmart.
Recovered property: A check was recovered at Huntmere Ave. at Rosemont Ave.
Aggravated menacing: Aggravated menacing was reported on social media at a home in the 50 block of N. Roanoke Ave.
May 19
Criminal mischief: Sugar in a gas tank was reported at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: Two UPS packages from Amazon.com were stolen from a home in the 30 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.
Overdose: An overdose was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Warwick South and the victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
May 20
Drug overdose: An overdose was reported at Shekinah Trimz, 1408 S. Raccoon Road and the patient was transported to St. Elizabeth.
Theft: A debit card was stolen from the ATM machine at the bank and used to spend $239.56 in unauthorized charges at Chemical Bank, 101 S. Canfield-Niles Road. The owner was a woman from Griffith St., Youngstown.
Theft: Earrings were reported stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Warrant: Salvatore Mineo, 59, of New Road, was arrested on a warrant for criminal damaging or endangering.
Drug offense: Milford Sponaugle, 56, of Mahoning Ave., was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Drug offense: Brandon Zikeli, 32, of Compass West was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and turned over to Youngstown for a warrant for failure to comply on a theft charge.

Weapons offense: Eric Smith, 31, of West Hylda Avenue, Youngstown was arrested for improper handling of a firearm.
Felonious assault: A house was shot up at a home in the 200 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
