Topless cleaning service owner arrested in theft

BANGOR, Maine

In a misstep that would seem to run counter to her business model, a woman who offers a semi-nude cleaning service was arrested and charged with stealing underwear.

Police in Bangor, Maine, say the woman is the owner-operator of a business called Topless Cleaning. She was caught shoplifting undergarments from a local business.

Bangor Police Sgt. Tim Cotton left a lengthy, humorous post about the arrest on the police department’s Facebook page. He says the woman “had stolen garments that would fully cover, support, and contain much of what her business title promised her customers.”

Cotton also says potential patrons should “keep their hands to themselves, leave other people’s things alone, and be kind to one another.”

Police didn’t identify the woman arrested. She’s charged with shoplifting and violating conditions of release.

Stolen trailer with $5,000 worth of snacks found

JONESBORO, Ark.

Police in Arkansas have arrested two people and charged them with stealing a 16-foot trailer that contained thousands of dollars’ worth of Little Debbie snack cakes.

Police say the trailer was discovered missing May 10 from outside a storage unit in Jonesboro, about 115 miles northeast of Little Rock. According to a police report, the trailer belonged to a Little Debbie salesman and contained $5,000 worth of snacks.

Jonesboro police said the trailer was in neighboring Mississippi County that night during a traffic stop. A police report says none of the snack cakes were touched. Two female suspects have been taken into custody.

The trailer’s owner, Roy Frazier, tells Jonesboro television station KAIT he’s bought new locks for the trailer.

Judge demands to be called ‘Your Honor’ at bakery

SAO PAULO

Brazil’s top judicial oversight board has decided it won’t sanction a judge who purportedly got angry at a bakery cafe waiter and demanded the man address him as “Your Honor.”

Witnesses say Judge Dilermando Motta Pereira was upset because the waiter did not put ice in his cup. The judge purportedly yelled at the employee, grabbed his shoulder and ordered the waiter to call him “Your Honor.”

Chief Justice Carmen Lucia said Pereira should have been more careful, but did not deserve to be punished for the 2014 incident. Pereira acknowledged the actions, but said he was mistreated by the waiter and complained other clients interfered.
