Herb and Plant Sale
When: Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: Stop by Canfield Fairgrounds to buy the latest and greatest herbs and perennials for your garden from Holborn Herb Growers Guild. Members will be on hand to help you pick the best items for your tastes.
Where: Canfield Fairgrounds’ Pumpkin Barn.
Wetland Walkabout: An Introduction
When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon
What: Join Arika Preas on this three-part hiking series to see just a few of the wetlands in Mill Creek MetroParks. In this first session, learn about the when, where, what and how of wetlands, then end with a wetland stroll.
Where: Newport Wetlands Parking Area, West Newport Drive, Boardman.

Goats Galore
When: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
What: Mahoning County Junior Fair Goat Club members and their four-legged friends will do handling demonstrations and obstacle course training with their animals. The group will offer goat-milking opportunities and more.

O.W.L.S. (Older Wiser Limber Seniors)
When: Monday, 10 a.m. to noon
What: Short presentation on Pond Life, discussing different wildlife we see, and why feeding wildlife is prohibited in the park.

Hypertufa Pots with Succulents!
When: June 12, 1 to 3 p.m.
What: Join other gardeners to make a set of three hypertufa pots, complete with plants. The pots will be a great addition to your indoors or outdoors plants

Plant Sale
When: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What: The MCCTC students in Floral Design/Landscape’s annual spring plant sale has flowering hanging baskets and planters (oval and round) as well as a great variety of potted plants, vegetables and houseplants.
