Annual Heart Ball set at Rustic Acres

VOLANT, PA.

The annual Mercer-Lawrence Heart Ball will take place Friday at Rustic Acres Farm, 141 Black Road. The theme is “Hearts and Boots,” for a casual country evening.

The VIP reception at 6 p.m. will feature a meet-and-greet with “The Voice” guest artist Karen Waldrup, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Doors will open for general admission at 7.

There will be live and silent auctions, refreshments, dancing, a performance by Waldrup, and the story of Ellen Bourne, Heart Child. Proceeds will support cardiovascular research, professional and public education, school site programs, and advocacy efforts.
