Canfield Republican Women’s Club is sponsoring a Quarter Auction Fundraiser on June 7 at the Shrine Club, 1735 W. South Range Road, North Lima. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the auction begins at 6. FAIRS, FESTIVALS

Simply Slavic Festival organizers are seeking authentic Slavic retail, crafts, fine arts and food vendors for its seventh annual Simply Slavic Festival from noon to 11 p.m. June 17 on Federal Plaza East, downtown Youngstown. There is space for 15 food vendors and 10 marketplace vendors. Openings will be filled according to timing of request and the need to maintain variety of options for the booths. FUNDRAISERS

St. Luke Holy Name Society is planning its ninth annual golf outing for 1 p.m. July 22 at Bedford Trails Golf Course, Coitsville. All proceeds will be used to replace or repair facility equipment. There will be a shotgun start and four-man scramble. Men and women are welcome. Event sponsors are $500; gold sponsors, $360; silver sponsors, $150; and hole sponsors, $75. RAFFLES

Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., is hosting raffles for chances to win a 50-inch flat screen LED television and a $225 prepaid Visa gift card. Tickets are $5 and winners will be announced at the annual Cars are the Stars 3 benefit classic car show set for June 3 (rain date June 10). Proceeds will benefit the center. Austintown Night Out committee is hosting a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road. Vendor spaces are $10 each and the event will be outside regardless of the weather. Vendors are welcome to take canopies. Christ Community Church, 531 Neoka Drive, Campbell, will have its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, bargain day and fill a bag for $3.

First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, 1105 Elm St. (next to Wick Park), will host a collectibles and treasure sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The sale includes collectibles, art, jewelry and antiques, hardcover and paperback books, CDs, DVDs and audio books. Snacks and baked goods will be available for purchase. Sales will be on a cash and carry basis. Proceeds support church outreach projects and operations.

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 State Route 193, will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, $2 a bag day. Admission is $5 for the presale from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Household items, toys, tools, glassware, dishes, decorations, Christmas items, piano, freezers, pictures, books, bookcases and more will be featured.

Girard Junior Women’s League will host its annual trunk and treasure sale 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be crafters, vendors and baked goods. Proceeds will benefit Girard citizens. For reservations call 330-651-0937.

Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, will host a trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will fund improvements around the church.

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothing for the entire family. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays. Yellow ticket items, except purses and jewelry, will be discounted 20 percent for the month.

Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road SE, Warren, will host a garage, attic and basement (GAB) sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free and there will be baked goods.

Ohio Living Center, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, is accepting donations for its rummage sale July 11 through 31. No clothing, televisions or computer monitors will be accepted. Items that can be donated include appliances, baby items, books, collectibles, crafts, decor, furniture, jewelry, kitchenware, electronics and sporting goods. Donations can be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. If unable to take items to the center, call 330-744-5071 for pick-up.

Poland Lions are hosting a treasures of the trunk sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10 at Poland High School stadium parking lot. Vendors are being sought for this one-day sale from the trunk of your car. Crafters, home goods, furniture, toys, specialty items and garage sale items are welcome. There are 100 spaces. TRIPS

AARP 4611 East is planning a trip to Pittsburgh on July 15. The cost is $70 and includes a luncheon cruise on the Gateway Clipper. There will be free slot play on the river casino. Alexander Hamilton/Idora Park Carousel trip planned for July 18 through 20. See where Hamilton lived, dueled, dined and died, and ride the Idora Park Carousel.
