Here are the pictures we received for this year's Mother's Day Contest, "Mom's the Word." The first picture is the winning entry, showing Karen Jarosz, 65, of Boardman and her mother, Betty Anzevino, 90. As their prize, Karen and Betty received a gift card for $100 for the two of them to enjoy a meal at Bruno’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Poland.
The winner of this year’s Mother’s Day Photo Contest, “Mom’s the Word,” is this picture of Karen Jarosz, 65, of Boardman and her mother, Betty Anzevino, 90.
The photo was snapped when the two made a trip to New York to ride Jane’s Carousel, formerly the Idora Park Carousel.
The mother and daughter won a $100 gift certificate to enjoy dinner at Bruno’s, Route 224, Poland.
