Valerie Cramer and Carl Martin were married at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22, 2016, at Poland Village Baptist Church. Pastor Brian Etheridge officiated, and a reception followed at the Operating Engineers Hall in Boardman.
Parents of the bride are Tom and Dawna Cramer of Greenford. The parents of the groom are Carl Martin of Struthers and Laura King of Pittsburgh.
The bride attended Chatham University and is employed with Meridian Arms Living Center, Youngstown, as director of social services. The groom attended Ohio Christian University and is a cook for Shop-N-Save in Hubbard.
The bride wore a strapless, off-white gown adorned with beading and a lace overlay. It was completed with a lace-up back and chapel length train.
Lindsey Wade, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were MacKenzie Prus, and Brooke Martin, sister of the groom. Emelie Yobe, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. The attendants wore pale blush-colored dresses.
Phil Decot performed the duties of best man. The groomsmen were Jeremy Reynolds, brother-in law of the groom, and Bryan Wade, brother-in-law of the bride. The ring bearer was Theodore Wade, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Anthony Cioci and Austin Kirk, cousin of the bride.
The couple traveled to The Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum in Kentucky and reside in Austintown.
