Youngstown Section of the National Council of Negro Women Inc. will have its monthly meeting Saturday at the McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road in Youngstown. GROUPS
That Quilt Group I Belong To will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday for its May meeting and Stitch Along Project. Karen Miles will demonstrate the Sweet Liberty table runner. Participants should take one-half yard assorted red prints, one yard assorted neutral fabrics, one-fourth yard of dark blue and one-fourth yard of medium blue fabrics. Take one-half yard for the border and one yard for the backing. Templates are available at Village Quilts and at the meeting. TQGIBT meets at Fair Park in Canfield on the third Tuesday of each month, with some exceptions, and is open to all quilters in the Mahoning Valley, at all skill levels. World War II Heritage Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at A La Cart Catering on U.S. Route 62 in Canfield. A buffet will precede the meeting.
