Youngstown police investigating attempted robbery at Burger King

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said someone in a red Monte Carlo on Tuesday night tried to rob the Burger King restaurant at 15 E. Midlothian Blvd.

Police were called to the restaurant about 10:05 p.m., where employees said someone in the car tried to rob the restaurant as the driver went through the drive through.

Reports did not say if anything was taken or if a weapon was used. Detectives are investigating.
