YOUNGSTOWN

City police arrested a man after a high-speed vehicle chase and a foot chase Sunday afternoon on the North Side.

The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, 21 WFMJ-TV, reported that police said the suspect’s car crashed into a car on Belmont Avenue and he drove away. No injuries were reported. The suspect then drove to Ohio and Granada avenues, where he abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot.

Police captured the suspect outside a residence in the 100 block of Lauderdale Ave. The suspect’s name and the charges he faces have not been released.
