Man gets 33-years-to-life sentence for 2012 homicide
YOUNGSTOWN — A man who has his guilty plea and 16-year sentence withdrawn for a 2012 murder was sentenced today to 33-years-to-life in prison after jurors last week found him guilty of the same murder.
Kyle Patrick, 22, was sentenced by Judge John Durkin in Mahoning County Common Pleas court on charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence for the April 27, 2012, shooting death of Michael Abighanem, 27, of Thalia Street, who was killed in a house on Silliman Street that he went to selling electronic equipment.
Jurors convicted Patrick after a three-day trial.
