Man indicted in mall parking lot death

A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a Florida man for the Nov. 29 death of a woman in the parking lot of the Southern Park Mall.

Matthew Wilson, 23, is charged with vehicular homicide for the death of Judy Dailey, 65, of Berlin Center, who was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the mall near JCPenney.

The Mahoning County coroner ruled she died within minutes from blunt force injuries to her head. Wilson is not yet in custody.

Also indicted by the grand jury Thursday were brothers Milton Willis, 58 and Quin Willis, 55, both of Rockdale Avenue, Boardman, on charges of impersonating a peace officer or private police officer, illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises, carrying concealed weapons and inducing panic.

The two were arrested after police responded to a South Side bar Feb. 19 and the Willises were both wearing uniforms that said they were police officers and carrying handguns, even though they are not police officers. They are on probation for similar charges in federal court.

Bryan Harris, 31, homeless, superseding indictment, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia with a forfeiture specification and identity fraud.

Joi Shorter, 22, St. Louis Avenue, theft.

Barbara Wilson, 30, Keefer Road, Girard, possession of cocaine.

Daniel Grennell II, 31, East Oregon Avenue, Sebring, breaking and entering and two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Angel Brito, 24, Richmond, Va., carrying concealed weapons, possession of drugs and obstructing official business.

Sarah Leflore, 41, New Court, possession of cocaine.

Edward Frost, 27, Uniontown, theft.

Jennifer Ribarich, 38, Lowell Avenue, Boardman, grand theft, two counts theft from elderly and two counts forgery.

James K. Thomas, 51, East Lucius Avenue, tampering with evidence, possession of cocaine and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Ghiates, 32, Market Street, possession of heroin and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joey Seaman, 35, Beechwood Drive, Poland, aggravated burglary, attempted rape, two counts of menacing by stalking, assault and intimidation of a witness.

Adrien Brown, 39, West Glenaven Avenue, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.

Alexander Grant, 49, Second Street, failure to register.

Davinna Smith, 33, East Boston Avenue, permitting drug abuse.

Terrence Tucker, 48, Rosser Avenue, Hubbard, three counts of aggravated robbery, three counts of robbery with repeat violent offender specifications and three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm with firearm specifications.

Christopher Council, 31, West Marion Avenue, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
