The GOAT wins again


Toledo Blade: The whodunnit case of Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jersey has been solved, leaving millions of New England Patriots fans rejoicing and countless jealous fans of other teams again cursing Tom Terrific who now has five Super Bowl rings, making him, many say, “The GOAT”– greatest of all time.

Mr. Brady’s jersey disappeared after the Patriots’ stunning 34-28 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5.

Later, in the locker room, the Patriots’ quarterback noticed that his jersey, which he put in his bag to save as a memento, was gone. A police report valued that game-worn jersey at $500,000.

It turns out that the jersey was taken by Mauricio Ortega, the editor of a Mexico City daily newspaper, La Prensa.

The FBI and the Houston Police Department cracked the case after studying video. So the mystery has been solved. The GOAT wins again – more sweet music for his fans and more sour grapes for the haters.
