FARRELL, Pa.

A coroner says a woman died in a house fire in western Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Firefighters in Mercer County were called to the Farrell residence just after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Coroner John Libonati said 46-year-old Regina Norris was found in the front bedroom and pronounced dead at the scene.

A ruling on the cause of death is still pending further information, but Libonati said he suspected that she died of smoke inhalation.

Fire investigators said the blaze started on the first floor, and the cause remains under investigation.

No one else was home at the time of the fire, and no other injuries were reported.
