Cadmans mark 60th anniversary at family dinner

David and Lois Cadman of North Lima celebrated their 60th anniversary at a family dinner Feb. 19 hosted by their children. Mr. Cadman and the former Miss Ohlinger were married Feb. 19, 1957, in Youngstown.

Their children are Jim (Debbie) Cadman of Warren, Denise (Rick) Matiscik of Denver, Colo., Susan (Lance) Newton of Canfield, David (Ann Marie) Cadman of Holly Springs, N.C., and Robert (Evelyn) Cadman of Phoenix. They have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Cadman is a homemaker and volunteered regularly with the West Side Parent Teacher’s Association. She is a member of County Extension and volunteers at Big Reach Hope Center in Greenford.

Mr. Cadman is an Army veteran and retired from the Youngstown Fire Department in 1991 as a captain with 29 years of service. He enjoys hunting and fishing and is a 21-year member of Jefferson County Sportsman Association. He enjoys golfing with his buddies.

The couple are members of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

In the 1980s, they were part owners of Pioneer Lake Park in Canfield. They have lived in North Lima for 25 years.
