The Youngstown Alumnae Panhellenic Association (YAPA) has supported women and collegiate Greek women with a scholarship opportunity for the past 72 years.

YAPA provided its first scholarships to high school women in the 1944-1945 Panhellenic year. Since 1976, YAPA’s scholarship focus is for an active member of a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority/Fraternity. YAPA has contributed more than $40,000 dollars to support women in furthering their education.

Youngstown Alumnae Panhellenic is offering a $500 scholarship for the 2016-2017 school year to an undergraduate that is a full-time sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior woman who resides in Mahoning, Trumbull or Columbiana County in the state of Ohio. The award will be based on scholarship, financial need, leadership and sorority participation. The award will be paid directly to the university’s financial affairs office. Applications are available on the website www.youngstownalumnaepanhellenic.weebly.com with the deadline of March 15.

Youngstown Alumnae Panhellenic Association is in its 91st year and provides lifelong alumnae involvement for Greek alumnae women and supports collegiate Greek women. YAPA members contribute and raise funds for a scholarship, develop and strengthen the Panhellenic bond and provide support for collegiate sororities at Youngstown State University.

YAPA has leadership positions available for sorority alumnae.
