What: Learn about the amazing world of plants with topics that include maple syrup, worms and dandelions.

Details: For age 3 to 5, plus adult. Each class will include an activity and snack. Attend all three classes and receive a plant-related prize.

New in the Greenhouse

When: Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to noon.

What: This educational seminar will cover what’s new and exciting in the greenhouse and creating and maintaining your own custom combination pots for summer and fall.

Skulls Tell It All

When: Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m.

What: Join OSU Extension certified volunteer naturalist Stephanie Hughes to learn to unravel the mystery of an animal’s life by studying its skull. Short hike afterwards.

Wonderful Woodpeckers

When: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

What: Knock knock. Who’s there? A woodpecker of course. We will learn how these birds do what they do through a short presentation. Easy half-mile hike follows.

Botanical Mornings

TREE PRUNING CLINIC

What: Learn fruit-tree pruning from the experts at White House Fruit Farm and OSU Extension. A blueberry session is scheduled at the end of the class.
