Broadway series includes ‘Waitress,’ ‘Rock’

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s 2017-18 Broadway series will include the Pittsburgh premieres of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Love Never Dies: The Phantom Returns,” “School of Rock,” “The Bodyguard,” “Waitress” and Disney’s “Aladdin,” along with “The Color Purple” and “Rent.” It does not include “Hamilton,” which will come to Pittsburgh in the 2018-19 season.

Season specials include “Motown, the Musical,” Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Wicked” and Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.”

Season subscription packages to the seven shows in the series range from $175 to $630 per subscription. Single tickets will go on sale approximately six to eight weeks in advance of each show’s opening.
