Warren JFK’s Bofenkamp All-Ohio pick

Warren JFK senior Justin Bofenkamp played a key role as the kicker for the Eagles’ state championship football team last fall.
Almost immediately, Bofenkamp moved on to become a huge part of Warren JFK’s successful boys basketball team. The 6-foot senior averaged 17 points and helped the Eagles (20-8) win a Division IV district championship and get within a game of a state tournament berth.
Bofenkamp’s efforts were reward Monday when he was named first-team All-Ohio.
Wellsville senior Justin Miller was a second-team selection. The 6-4 Miller averaged 21.4 points for the Tigers.
Mahoning Valley players who earned special-mention All-Ohio status included Bristol’s Tommy Donadio, Jackson-Milton’s Noah Laster and McDonald’s Zach Rasile earned special-mention All-Ohio status.
All-Ohio honorable-mention selections from the Valley included Lisbon’s Justin Sweeney, Maplewood’s Zach Dawson, Warren JFK’s Antonio McQueen, Western Reserve’s Kade Hilles and Bristol’s Bryan Gabrielson.
The Division II and III All-Ohio teams are scheduled for release today.
