YSU jazz combos in free concert

YOUNGSTOWN

The Dana School of Music will present a free concert by the Youngstown State University jazz combos at 7 p.m. Thursday in Spotlight Theater, on the lower level of Bliss Hall.

The combos, led by Dave Kana and Theron Brown, will perform jazz standards by Woody Shaw, Joe Zawinul and Charles Mingus, as well as American Songbook Standards.

Parking is available in the Wick Avenue parking deck via Walnut Street (GPS address is 100 Wade Street, Youngstown OH 44502) for a nominal fee. Patrons are advised to watch for detours as construction progresses on Wick Avenue. For information, call 330-941-2307.
