Students at Poland North Preschool spread love throughout the school for Valentine’s Day on Feb. 13 and 14.

All of the classes had Valentine’s Day boxes for the students to pass out Valentine’s cards to each other. Many students brought candy, pencils or other Valentine’s Day objects to pass out. Each class celebrated Valentine’s Day in a different way. Several of the students dressed up in Valentine’s Day clothing to celebrate.

Students in Samantha Cox’s class participated in different Valentine’s Day themed science experiments, games and school work. The students practiced graphing using conversation candy hearts to see how many of each color there was, an experiment to see what would happen when the hearts were put in water, soda and vinegar, and many more activities.

Joy Bucci had students in her class make hats out of paper plates, make bracelets out of colorful beads and make a giant heart craft. There was a station for the students to decorate cookies with frosting and sprinkles.

Terry Wittenauer and her class enjoyed a special snack that the students brought in to share with each other. They then had the chance to pass out their Valentine’s Day cards before finishing up their school day.

Danielle Argeras and her class made a giant Valentine’s Day heart craft using different colored construction paper.

North Preschool had two full days of Valentine’s Day celebrations with the students sharing with each other and spreading the love in and out of the classroom.
