Friends of the Mahoning River will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the Oak Hill Collaborative, 507 Oak Hill, Youngstown. Parking is in the rear of the building. Plans will be made for the sixth annual RiverFest on June 3 at the B & O Station. The club mission is to advocate the quality of the Mahoning River. Newcomers of Mahoning Valley will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, Cornersburg. A representative of the Veteran’s Administration will be speaking. Friends of the Poland Library will meet April 4 at the Poland Library, 311 S. Canfield Republican Women’s Club dinner meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. April 5 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Judge Mary DeGenaro, Ohio 7th District Court of Appeals, will discuss the Constitution and the Judicial Branch.
