Drug ring members issued new indictments

The five members of a family indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury last week for selling drugs out of a Kendis Circle apartment were issued new indictments Thursday.

Reginald Young, 32; Antonio Young, 22; Lenarius Young, 21; and Brittani Davenport, 24, all of Kendis Circle; and Daryl Young, 44, of Lauderdale Avenue, are charged with three counts of illegal use of supplemental nutrition or WIC program benefits, a fifth-degree felony.

The five were indicted last week on charges of trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Prosecutors said the five had been investigated for more than a year for selling drugs out of a Kendis Circle apartment.

All five were arrested the day after they were indicted, and all are in the jail, except for Davenport.

Also indicted Thursday:

Brandon Michael Hill, 22, East Garfield Road, New Springfield, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and aggravated possession of drugs.

Alexander Kilpatrick, 18, Slippery Rock Drive, Canfield; Phillip B. Ritchie, 18, Whispering Pines Drive, Canfield; Beau Jeffries, 18, Country Green Drive, Austintown; Tyler Hewitt, 19, Signature Circle, Austintown; and Brian Pressley Jr., 20, Signature Circle, Austintown; two counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and obstructing justice with firearm specifications.

Amy Begeot, 31, Cook Avenue, obstructing official business.

Donnovan Slocum, 20, Aberdeen Avenue, receiving stolen property.

Eric Gilford, 25, Eastway Drive, possession, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs.

Tawuan Ceasar, 25, Merriweather Avenue, Warren, tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.

Brady Stewart, 57, East Wood Street, possession of cocaine.

Eric Brady, 30, Applecrest Court, Boardman, being a felon in possession of a firearm, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and obstructing official business.

Daquan Henderson, 19, Kensington Avenue, tampering with evidence, possession of cocaine, possession of drugs and falsification.

Howard Catheline, 63, Cherry Hill, possession of cocaine.

Randy Shipp, 28, Logan Gate, Liberty, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Derrick Slocum, 51, Lauderdale Avenue, breaking and entering.

Benjamin Chiabi, 30, Devitt Avenue, Campbell, three counts of trafficking in heroin.

Charles Cole, 31, Tampa Avenue, six counts trafficking in heroin, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in drugs, possession of cocaine and possession of drugs with a forfeiture specification.

Justin Hall, 28, McDonald Avenue, McDonald, felonious assault.

Nelfonda Lynch, 25, Green Acres, Liberty, forgery and tampering with evidence.
