Pair face drug charges after city traffic stop Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — An East Palestine woman is in the Mahoning County jail on possession of heroin charges after reports said she was arrested with three doses of heroin in her bra.

Reports said Shawna Lewis, 31, was a passenger in a car pulled over about 9:20 p.m. Saturday at South and East Dewey avenues for an improper turn.

The drugs after a female officer was called to search her. The driver, Daniel Lewis, 36, of Negley, was issued a citations for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a crack pipe on him.
