Dana Chorale concerts

The Dana Chorale, directed by Professor Hae-Jong Lee of the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, has scheduled two concerts this month.

The first will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 119 Stadium Drive, Boardman. This concert will include the choirs of Westminster Presbyterian Church (Kathy Miller, director), Canfield Presbyterian Church (Tom Scurich, director), and First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown (Larry Harris, director). These guest choirs will join the Dana Chorale at the end of the concert to sing “Ain’-a That Good News” and “Praise His Holy Name.”

On March 31, the Dana Chorale will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral, 159 W. Rayen Ave. This concert is titled “Musical Journey from America to Korea.”

Both concerts are free, but a free-will offering will be collected to support the chorale’s upcoming tour of Korea.
