Dana Brass recital at St. John’s church
YOUNGSTOWN
The Dana Brass and Friends will give a free recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave.
Included on the program are Dana Brass Quintet members Christopher Krummel, trumpet; Nicholas Samson, trumpet; Stacie Mickens, horn; John Sebastian Vera, trombone; and Brian Kiser, tuba.
The featured guest artist is St. John’s organist and choir director Richard Konzen.
The Dana Brass Quintet will be joined by the Dana undergraduate brass quintet, whose members are Michael Barkett, trumpet; Herbie Hunkele, trumpet; Alisha Moore, horn; and Stephen Spencer, trombone; and Jake Umbrazun, tuba.
In addition, the Dana tuba-euphonium ensemble will perform.
