‘Founding Mothers’ lecture at the Tyler

Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s next Bites and Bits of History Lunch Program will take place Thursday at noon at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown. Traci Manning, MVHS curator of education, will present “Founding Mothers, Part 2,” which continues to share the stories of the women who left their mark on the Valley’s history.

Guests can bring a lunch or visit Overture restaurant across the street for a $6 Bites and Bits lunch special. Call Overture at 330-744-9900 to place an order. Coffee, pop and water are available for purchase at the Tyler.

The Kent State University at Trumbull Student Nurse Association will present its spring craft show Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the student union, inside the Classroom Building, 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW. About 60 vendors will be selling crafts. Admission and parking are free.
