“People Icons” (10 p.m., ABC): The new limited series “People Icons” is a collaboration between ABC News and People magazine. Hosted by Lara Spencer, it examines different topics and personalities each week. First up: celebrity love stories, including the Obamas, Prince William and Kate and others.

Art show, wine at Peter Allen Inn

KINSMAN

The Peter Allen Inn and Event Center, 8581 State St., will present its spring art show and wine tasting from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Works by local painters, craftspeople and photographers will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

The event also includes a seasonal wine and chocolate pairing and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. The tavern also will be open.

Noted regional landscape painter Thomas McNickle will do a live painting session and answer questions about his artistic process. Several of his paintings will be on display and for sale.

At 2 p.m., McNickle will give a presentation in the tavern on his motivation and subject selection technique.

Other artists in the show are Thomas Harwood, watercolor/oils; Rebecca S. Nieminen, photography; Bill Orly, acrylic/oils; Daniel Rauschenbach, prints/ceramics; and Ralph Teets, woodwork.

Karaoke nights at Buckeye Elks

YOUNGSTOWN

The Buckeye Elks Lounge, 421 North Ave., will have Karaoke Wednesday, beginning this week, from 8 p.m. to midnight with DJ Greg. Admission is free. Guests are asked to take photos, which will be shown on Facebook Live.

Choruses present ‘Messiah’ sing-along

The Stambaugh Chorus and Warren Civic Chorus invite members of the public to lend their voice to a sing-along of Handel’s “Messiah” oratorio at 7:30 p.m. March 24 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE.

The performance is under the direction of Hae-Jong Lee of Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music. Featured soloists will be Brianne Samson, Victor Cardamone and Max Pivik. Accompanists will be Kathy Miller, organ; and Susan Sexton, trumpet.
