Man faces gun, drug charges after police respond to fight call

YOUNGSTOWN — Police found a .40-caliber handgun at about 3:10 p.m. Sunday while answering a fight call on the South Side.

Nicholas Richardson, 24, is expected to be arraigned on gun and drug charges later today in municipal court.

Reports said police found the gun in a car Richardson was driving and he also had eight painkillers on him when he was searched in the 200 block of East Dewey Avenue.
