Hungarian violin-piano duo at St. John’s

Hungarian musicians Ferenc Szecs≈ëdi, violin, and Aniko Szokody, piano, will give a free recital at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave. Their appearance is sponsored by the Dana School of Music.

Parking is available behind St. John’s. Patrons are advised to watch for posted detours as construction progresses on Wick Avenue.

Szecs di began his teaching career in 1977 at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Szeged. He became an international soloist in 1984, when he received the much sought-after Grand Prize of the Cziffra Grant.

Szokody is an international soloist and chamber musician.
