YSU upsets Oakland in Horizon League tourney with buzzer beater 81-80

DETROIT — Youngstown State University upset top-seeded Oakland University in the Horizon League tournament this afternoon with a last-second layup, 81-80.

YSU advances to the semifinals. Oakland's record was 24-7; YSU's record was 12-20. YSU advanced by beating Cleveland State on Friday night.
