Boardman Civic Association Board of Directors has been eagerly preparing for the 2017 Community Awards by reviewing the new and refurbished businesses in the Boardman Community.
Mark your calendars for March 20 at 5:30 p.m. to meet at Boardman Park Lariccia Community Center as BCA celebrates the growth of the community and present awards for a New and Refurbished Business of the Year. Additionally, BCA will be recognizing an outstanding Citizen of the Year. Boardman is fortunate to have many wonderful people from which to choose for this award.
If you have not already paid the $85 membership fee and are interested in renewing your membership or joining for the first time, submit your checks before March 20.
BCA is actively collecting donations for the Scholarship Awards Dinner, which will take place at the Holiday Inn on April 18. Some individuals and businesses have been so incredibly generous in helping BCA award scholarships to outstanding, qualifying seniors.
Payments for BCA Membership Dues and Scholarship Awards can be made on the website at www.boardmancivic.com or by mailing them to PO Box 3862 Boardman, OH 44513. Prompt Scholarship payments will assist in having an accurate count of awards available.
